An article by Titanilla Komenda in the September 2020 issue of the AUTlook magazine discusses the ability of humans to interact safely with robots. She explains that the focus at CRAOS is really on the people and their diversity and therefore also their abilities. In the production or factory, the target group is known, such as age, level of education, know-how, etc. The risk assessment or the design of the human-robot workplace turns out to be relatively simple. However, at trade fairs or exhibitions, people from all walks of life interact with the robot or cobot and it is almost impossible to cover all eventualities.
